Fatherly Love

It’s Father’s Day weekend and what better time to celebrate the role of fatherly energy and all that it represents? Because it really is so important to our relationships.

Now let me just lay the groundwork for a second. We as humans carry both the mothering energy of nurturance and the fatherly energy of trustworthiness and responsibility. And as I describe this, I think it’s pretty clear as to why both of these are so important in love.

We need to feel nurtured and cared for by each other AND we also need to know that we can trust and depend on one another.

Really, one cannot exist without the other. You can’t feel cared for if you can’t depend on your mate. And you can’t depend on someone that you feel doesn’t care.

So in the celebration of Father’s Day, let’s celebrate those in your life that bring the vibes of trust and dependability into your life on the regular. And while you’re at it, why not explore your own relationship and identify ways to raise the levels of nurturance and trust too?

Because Father’s Day isn’t all about backyard BBQs and cheesy dad joke cards… it’s about honoring the trustworthy and dependable people around you and celebrating all they bring to your life.

Happy Father’s Day and may you celebrate it well.

Yours,

-A
